CH-53 Helicopter

The H-53 family of heavy lift helicopters combine power and versatility like nothing else in the sky. They are at home in searing desert heat, arctic cold and everything in between. Flying a range of missions that include heavy-lift operations, H-53 helicopters can carry cargo, vehicles, artillery and troops and are designed to operate in naval environments. The all new CH-53K helicopter, the United States Marine Corps' Heavy Lift Replacement Helicopter, will continue the H-53 legacy with Initial Operating Capability in 2015.
