

HOUSTON - Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. announced plans today to launch a comprehensive "end to end" online survey of all commercial and military customers as part of a new Customer Loyalty Program designed to create a best-in-class customer experience. Sikorsky is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
Sikorsky officials made the announcement at the Heli-Expo aircraft show in Houston. The survey will measure every aspect of the customer experience, from the proposal and contract stage, to delivery of an aircraft, to field support including provision of spare parts, training and all other services. For this project, Sikorsky is working with Harris Interactive, a world leader in market research and customer commitment modeling.
Sikorsky's commercial and international military customers will begin receiving the survey March 5, and the U.S. government customer will receive it in April. Customers will have approximately three weeks to respond.
"Customers are the key to our business, and we want to know exactly what they are thinking and what they need so we can provide it in the manner and within the time they expect," said Stephen B. Estill, vice president and chief marketing officer. "Our goal is to be a 100 percent customer driven business. The survey itself was initiated in response to customer feedback, and qualitative customer interviews were conducted before the survey was designed in order to ensure we were focusing on all the areas important to them. "
