
Jarvi and his team are charged with delivering successful development program management, from detailed customer requirement specifications, to comprehensive program planning and rigorous performance testing. Jarvi also ensures development of the program management discipline across the corporation, including talent identification, development and career planning.
He has more than 35 years of leadership experience, including significant program management roles in the aerospace and automotive industries. He joined Sikorsky in 2010 as Vice President, Navy & Marine Corps Programs, where he led all of Sikorsky's U.S. Government maritime programs. Before joining Sikorsky, he served as President, Defense North America for Rolls-Royce Corporation and held the roles of VP and General Manager, V22 program, and VP, US Government Programs at Bell Helicopter. He began his career as a jet pilot in the U.S. Navy where he accumulated more than 2,000 flight hours and 450 carrier landings.
Jarvi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in Management from Maryville University.
