Ariel David serves as Vice President and General Counsel at Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
His responsibilities include overseeing the contracting process with customers, suppliers, partners and licensees, ensuring effective protection of the company's intellectual property, and leading and guiding the company to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and United Technologies Corporation policies.
David joined Sikorsky in 2003 as a Senior Attorney, was appointed Director, Government Contracts and Associate Counsel in 2005, and was named Vice President and Counsel, Government Programs in 2008. He was appointed Vice President and General Counsel in 2012.
Before joining Sikorsky, he was an associate for seven years at the law firm of Crowell & Moring in Washington, DC. He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and later as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He also served as Counsel to the Committee on Armed Services in the U.S. House of Representatives.
David holds a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration in finance from the University of Wisconsin and a Juris Doctor from Temple University.
