David Adler, president of HSI and senior vice president of Sikorsky's Worldwide Customer Service (WCS), and Nasos Karras, vice president, Helicopter Programs, Honeywell Defense & Space, signed the agreement during a ceremony attended by executives and program teams from both companies.
"Sikorsky and HSI are pleased to build on our long-standing relationship with Honeywell. HSI's world-class distribution and supply chain management for Honeywell Aerospace Defense & Space helicopter products adds significant value to our customers," said Adler.
Under the agreement, HSI will distribute Honeywell Defense & Space starters, generators, valves, and other components for all international Sikorsky military aircraft such as the S-70 BLACK HAWK, S-70 NAVAL HAWK, H-92 SUPERHAWK, H-3 and H-53 aircraft, as well as all commercial S-92, S-76, and S-61 aircraft.
The agreement includes distribution of helicopter components and assemblies manufactured at Honeywell's facilities across the United States for Sikorsky products, as well as products used on other rotor wing platforms on a worldwide, non-exclusive basis.
A similar agreement between Sikorsky's Derco Aerospace subsidiary remains in place with Honeywell and covers fixed-wing aircraft spares distribution for Aerospace Defense & Space.
