SIKORSKY - TEAMSTERS AGREE ON CONTRACT

Connecticut - Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation announced today that Local 1150 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, representing hourly employees in four company facilities in Conn. and one in Fla., have ratified a new three-year labor contract. Sikorsky Aircraft, based in Stratford, Conn., is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX). The agreement covers approximately 3,500 employees in Stratford, West Haven, Bridgeport, and Shelton, Conn. and 90 employees in West Palm Beach, Fla.
"We are pleased that our workers have ratified the contract," said Sikorsky president Jeff Pino. "Sikorsky now enters an exciting new era with tremendous opportunities for all of our employees, and the communities where we live and work. We remained focused on the future and are steadfast in our commitment to providing our customers with the world's best vertical flight solutions."
Employees will begin returning to work over the next seven days. All Sikorsky facilities will be operating at full capacity by April 10.
