Veteran's Day 2004

Hartford, Connecticut - Throughout the 81-year history of our company, Sikorsky employees have been called to serve our country in the Armed Forces. This patriotism has earned these colleagues the gratitude of not only our company, but of our community and country.

On this annual Veterans Day observance, we celebrate and honor all of our Sikorsky colleagues, past and present that have served to protect the democratic ideals that are the foundation of our nation. We would also like to recognize all of the veterans across our country. From World War I and World War II, to the conflicts in Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Bosnia, and elsewhere, to the recent battles in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well in peace-time missions overseas and here in the United States, our veterans have built a great tradition of courageous and faithful service.

I invite all of you to join me in honoring our military veterans by taking a moment on this annual day of tribute and remembrance to thank them for their service to America.
